- Vinzenz Schumy Award for Physiological Fingerprint Researcher at BOKU:
Katharina Schödl has received the Vinzenz Schumy Award granted by RWA Raiffeisen Ware Austria Aktiengesellschaft.
The Award acknowledges scientific works in the agricultural domain relevant for the agricultural cooperative system of Austria.
Katharina Schödl is a staff member of the project Physiological Fingerprinting in Viticulture , managed by Prof. Astrid Forneck at the Viticulture division of BOKU.
The project is conducted in cooperation with the Analytikzentrum of IFA Tulln and viticuture schools in Retz/Hollabrunn and Krems.
The goal of her dissertation is the development of bio markers for UV-B stress affecting fruit quality and vitality of grapes.
